Lucknow — Renault India launched the new Duster SUV during a special ceremony held at the MG Chariots showroom in Hazratganj, Lucknow. The starting price for this SUV has been set at ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and deliveries have already commenced across the country.
The vehicle was unveiled by Juhie Singh, President of the Samajwadi Party’s Women’s Wing. Present on the occasion were MG Chariots’ Dealer Principals, Ashish Agarwal and Vandita Agarwal, along with their family members. Representing Renault India, RSM Raman and Area Sales Manager Jitesh Singh were also in attendance at the event.
Built on the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), the new Duster has been engineered to suit Indian road conditions, offering enhanced robustness, a comfortable driving experience, and excellent handling. It features a Turbo TCe 160 engine that generates 163 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. It is available in both manual and automatic (DCT) transmission options.

This SUV comes equipped with premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, and 17 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Additionally, the OpenR Link infotainment system—featuring Google built-in—delivers a modern and connected driving experience.
The new Duster is available in five variants—Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic—catering to the diverse needs of various customers. Renault is also offering flexible subscription plans and a 7-year ‘Renault Forever’ warranty for its customers. According to Renault India, this model has received an overwhelming response right from its launch—particularly the E-Tech Strong Hybrid variant, for which the entire allocation for 2026 has already been booked. New booking slots are expected to open around the festive season.
